season is the most exciting time of the year for fashionistas! We get inspired by all the
new trends that are going to be in vogue the next months!
London Fashion Week Festival es el mejor lugar para sentir el ambiente de la moda y ver la industria un poquito más desde dentro. Se celebró del 23 al 26 de febrero y estos días fueron toda una exposición de moda, charlas y pasarelas. El evento fue en una localización inmejorable: The Store Studios, 180 Strand, en pleno centro de Londres, y aquí disfrutamos de los días amenizados con música, comidita deliciosa (y sana), café italiano y champán Pommery.

Fashion Week Festival is the best place to feel the fashion vibes and see the
industry a bit more from the inside. It was celebrated from 23rd to
26th February and these days were an exhibition of fashion, talks
and catwalks. The event was located at a superb venue: The Store Studios, 180 Strand , and here we enjoyed the days enlivened with
music, delicious (and healthy) food, Italian coffee and Pommery.
Fue genial ver lo mejor de la moda británica e internacional, pero fue aun mejor poder comprar piezas únicas a precios muy muy especiales. Este es sin duda el lugar para encontrar ese producto que estás buscando, tanto si es un vestido, un par de vaqueros o un bolso de diseñador.
It was
great to see the best of British and international fashion and it was even
better being able to buy special pieces at “industry-insider” prices. This is
the place to find that unique item that you are looking for, either it is a
dress, a pair of jeans or a designer bag.
Allí encontramos más de 150 marcas para comprar, incluidas Accessorize, Jigsaw, Linda Farrow, Saltspin, Zelle Studio, Rain... y además, los patrocinadores del evento ofrecían unos servicios geniales, como de peluquería con Tony&Guy, inmortalizando el momento con fotografías Instax, o mantenernos hidratados gracias a Evian.
We found
more than 150 brands to shop from, including Accessorize, Jigsaw, Linda Farrow,
Saltspin, Zelle Studio, Rain… and the sponsors provided great services as hair
styling by Tony&Guy, immortalizing the moment with photographs by Instax, or
stay hydrated thanks to Evian.
También hubo charlas interesantísimas por parte de expertos de la industria como Cassie Davies-Strodder (Conservadora de la exposición de Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion en el museo Victoria and Albert), Pandora Sykes (periodista, estilista, consultora de marca y locutora), y Amy Pownew (Directora creativa de Mother of Pearl), entre otros.
There were
also really interesting talks by industry experts as Cassie Davies-Strodder
(Curator of Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion exhibition at the V&A), Pandora
Sykes (journalist, stylist, brand consultant and podcast-host), and Amy Powney
(Creative director of Mother of Pearl), among others.
Durante los días, no podían faltar los desfiles! Hubo pasarela de tendencias, como las flores, los volantes y el hombro al descubierto; y de diferentes diseñadores como Huishan Zhang, Mother of Pearl, Teatum Jones and Osman! Los asistentes podían elegir a qué desfile acudir, aunque no parece una decisión fácil!
Throughout
the days, catwalks could not be missing! There were trends and designer
catwalks: the brands showing their collections were Huishan Zhang, Mother of
Pearl, Teatum Jones and Osman; and the trends were micro-florals, ruffles
reinvented and the shoulder show! Attendants could select which one they wanted
to see, but it sounds really difficult to choose, though!
Como pueden ver, no faltó detalle! Fue una experiencia genial y ya estamos deseando que llegue el próximo #LFWFestival!
As you can
see, the organization took care of even the smallest details! It was a lovely
experience and we are already excited for next #LFWFestival!
